Short[ish] bio:
I am a researcher and practicing visual artist with a background in fine art, graphic design, writing and filmmaking. I have a keen interest in research relating to ideas surrounding pop-culture fandom, amateurism, welfare, class, subcultures and our collective experiences of navigating the digital labyrinth. This is explored in a personal manner that is sincere, critical, thoughtful & lived.

My work has been exhibited and screened internationally at institutions such as the Chisenhale, Whitechapel, The Barbican & Southwark Park Galleries. I have worked alongside and spoken at South London Gallery, The Woodmill, & University of the Arts London and have been employed on projects with Stratford Circus Arts Centre, Zone Digital and City University London. I am a recipient of ACE funding (2013) & the RCA Fund Scholarship (2017) where my subsequent research project — Universal Credit Otaku, was published in 2019 via Metafauna. I have taught as an associate lecturer and am currently a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art on the MA Visual Communication programme. I currently publish my research output across writing, filmmaking, podcasts and YouTube. Reach me on Twitter, Vimeo, Soundcloud or Bandcamp.
