Full CV (PDF)
My research-led practice dives into ideas surrounding pop-culture fandom, amateurism, class and our collective experiences of digital reproduction — in a personal manner that is sincere, critical, thoughtful and lived. This is embraced by a romanticism for the welfare initiatives of yesteryear through video, performance, sculpture and sound. Fanaticism, enchantment, transformation and longing. Labour, nostalgia, escapism and colour.
My work has been exhibited and screened internationally at institutions such as the Chisenhale, Whitechapel, The Barbican and Southwark Park Galleries and I have worked alongside and spoken at South London Gallery, The Woodmill, UAL and Newham Council among others. I am a recipient of ACE funding and the RCA Fund Scholarship where my subsequent research project — Universal Credit Otaku — was published in 2019 via Metafauna.
Currently a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art on MA Visual Communication.
